The Web Folder is exclusively for web based apps. In example, if someone wanted to make Google Docs a web app, they will go to app manager in this folder, provide the full URL?, and give the app a name. The system will do the necessary magic, and suddenly, you have a Google Docs app that will open. Since these apps does still require a browser to operate, the web apps must support the web browser that is integrated with the OS.
